If you are fond of eating kilawin or ceviche, then I’m sure you are going to love this dish called spiced pickled oysters. Not all people likes to eat ceviche because not all stomach can handle raw fish or seafood which is only cured my marinating in vinegar or citrus juice. But this recipe I have here is somewhat blanched and cooked for only a minute which might be acceptable to some that don’t like kilawin.
To cook spiced pickled oysters; Blanch the oysters quickly. Strain. Combine all the rest of the ingredients in a pan and blend well. Boil for about 1 minute. Place oysters in a deep bowl and pour the spicy liquid over it. Let cool: then chill. Server cold.
