A simple glazed chicken wings with honey-orange glaze. Perfect for any occasions because ingredients are simple and easy to find. I think the only ingredient here that I have not seen most of the time in supermarkets is the orange flavored honey. You can make your own homemade orange flavored honey by combining a cup of honey with an orange zest cut into strips. Place honey in a double boiler with water in bottom. Bring water to a boil, and bring honey to 185°F and keep at 185°F for 10 minutes. Remove from heat and let stand 10 minutes. Strain while still warm. Place in sterilized jars and cap.
To cook chicken wings; Season chicken wings with liquid seasoning and marinate for 30 minutes. In a small bowl, mix together flour, five spice powder, salt and pepper. Coat wings well with the flour mixture. Set aside. Heat oil over medium heat in a small saucepan. Fry wings for about 10 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from heat and drain on paper towels. Place fried chicken wings in batches in the pan with the glaze ( see recipe below) and toss to fully coat wings with the glaze.
How to Cook Chicken Wings with Honey-Orange Glaze

- 12 pieces chicken wings rinsed and drained
- 1/2 Tbsp. liquid seasonings
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 Tbsp. five spice powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper
- 1 cup cooking oil for deep frying
Honey-Orange Glaze:
- 1 Tbsp. cooking oil
- 1/2 Tbsp. grated ginger
- 1/2 Tbsp. grated orange zest
- 1/2 cup orange-flavored honey
- 1/4 cup chili sauce
- 1/2 tsp. fish sauce
Instructions
How to cook Chicken Wings:

- Add grated orange zest, honey, chili sauce and fish sauce,
- Simmer for about 3 to 4 minutes.
