- With 1/4 cup fat drippings (from pan where chops were baked) pour into a saucepan; add 2 tablespoons of flour.
- Boil over medium heat and stir continuously until smooth and well blended.
- Then add remaining drippings, plus 1 cup evaporated milk and 1 cup water.
- Stir well and cook for 5 minutes until well blended.
- Add a little salt and pepper to taste.
